One program. One pathway. Every grade.

Most clubs are a single season. Birmingham Bobcats Field Hockey is a true pipeline that grows your child from their very first stick to a varsity letter, all under one program and one coaching staff.

Grades 4–8

Where it starts and grows. One youth program from first stick to competitive play. Beginners learn to dribble, pass, and play; older players (grades 6–8) also compete in fall league play against programs like Cranbrook, Country Day, Novi, and Grosse Pointe. Open to players from Birmingham and neighboring communities. Middle school league play is for students attending a Birmingham middle school.

Summer clinic + fall season

High School

Where it pays off. Everything built in the youth program leads here, to Birmingham United high school field hockey. The high school fields both junior varsity (JV) and varsity teams, with the chance to play beyond.

The players grow up together

When a program runs from 4th grade to varsity under one staff, your child learns the same system every step of the way. Friendships built in the 4–5 group become the varsity team. That continuity is how strong programs are built, and it is exactly what Birmingham has never had until now.
